Articles are the Missing Link to Your Success by Vince Collaso

Sunday 20 April 2008 @ 1:15 am

Well! You’ve built your website. Now let’s look at what you have:

  • adsense
  • other ads
  • catchy web site name
  • online subscription capture form
  • widgets
  • website keywords ready

Now, what’s missing? What is that key thing that completes the picture? Simply put, it goes by one name: ARTICLES.

Your website may have all of the above, but without this, you may as well pack up and go home.

Articles are written by you, the owner and author of the web site, or blog. They are the online diary that connects you to your prospective readers.  Solid, well written articles that are published frequently with small intervals between, are excellent ways to build readership, get adsense and other ads clicked on more often, and get you moved up in the search engine rankings.

If you have a blog, your articles are more like a web diary that reflects the same basic subject. This is the title subject of the blog, like beekeeping, for example.

Using the above subject, you should write 3 - 5 articles per week, 350 - 500 words in length and be about the same basic subject, beekeeping.

Once you’ve written a certain amount of articles on this subject (as well as having submitted them to article directories), you will be seen as an authority on this subject. Search engines like Google absolutely looove new and fresh content! They tend to rank websites favorably that feature it. If the keywords are used properly, this can guarantee page views and eventually readership.

Articles must be informative as well as entertaining. The writer’s personality should be seen through the words. Famous writers are exactly that because people are familiar with their style. Their writing style engages the reader, forces them to get involved with what is written. The reader is then plunged into that writer’s world, if only for a short, but glorious time. The information given turns light bulbs on in the readers’ heads. They must be satisfied after reading your words, anxious to hear more from you.

If a beekeeping product  not made by you is being sold on the website, then you’re writing an affiliate marketing article designed to highlight the benefits of that product. It should be more informative than entertaining, of course. The words are meant to drive readers to buy your product. Sensational words, threats, bullet points, comparisons and contrasts are hallmarks of this type.

If you want success, you MUST use articles. They engage readers, bring them back wanting more, and are loved by search engines. Search engines rank your website much higher if you write informative and entertaining pieces. This is developing readership, a vital chunk of your success puzzle.

When you write about your website’s subject consistently and use keywords in a manner consistent with your content, page views and page rank will indeed grow with each and every exciting submission. Also, article submission directories get your name around the internet in a way and speed you wouldn’t believe.

Now that you know, research your topic thoroughly and get writing!

How I went From Zero To $1,000 A Month? Posted By : scorpionmagnet

Sunday 13 April 2008 @ 6:04 pm

Its really an amazing story and experience to tell to everyone how I went from zero to over $1000 a month in my money blogging and writing career. Honestly, when I decide to go full time money blogging back in December 2007 I said to myself hey, can I really do it - like joining the stiff competition in money blogging online? I have no experience how to work with codes, widgets, snippets, html editing and the whole SEO thing.

So, this is how I went from basically zero to over $1,000 a month blogging income. I know a lot of top bloggers earn $25,000 up to $100,000 a month but for me this achievement is already something for the past four months active money blogging and learning on the worldwide web.
